Rainbow Snippets 30 April- 1 May.

An unedited snippet from a manuscript we are working on.
Set in Victorian England.
Jacob Doone visits London in search of his twin brother. His only lead, a flyer advertising a production of, Dr Faustus, at the Regents Theatre. On the back  his brother had penned. Must see! M, is simply outstanding. Love J.
M, turns out to be Mephistopheles. Played by the enigmatic, Christian DeLaCroix.

 Beautiful Deception.

With a nod, Will stood and wished him luck for the evening's performance, then departed. Outside his room, the whir of activity picked up as the cast and crew prepared for the show. Christian glanced in the mirror and laughed. He'd never had the heart to point out to his good friend Abraham, -whose novel, Dracula had taken the isle by storm- that myth, lore, and years of research had failed him. Vampyres could see their reflection. They could venture into daylight for short periods. Moonlight revived them. And who would desire to sleep in a cold, hard coffin?
